Up the Ladder is one of those books that makes you think that you have every part of the story figured out, but then you get whiplash for trying to keep up. The characters are well developed, and I love how Gen and Jake are very mature in understanding their feelings. They’ve become one of my favourite couples and I feel like they are real and near us. Also, I learned some new stuff with this book 👀

If you up for some steamy scenes be prepared! But this story is so much more than that! Is about discovering your true self and accepting who you are. The power when you have someone who really supports and accept you can do to your life.

She blamed herself and was also blamed by parents. Gen is dumped by a long time boyfriend who accuses her of being sexual inadequate. In her effort to find her sexuality she meets Jake. Jake challenges and understanding allow to find and accept value in herself, thus open the door for passion and love
